Who am I?

My name is Jose Yahir Perez Jaramillo and I was a second semester senior by the time I started my semester abroad. I was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI and am actively pursuing my business management degree at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. Some of my preferred past times include: traveling, the beach, spending time with my friends and being active whether it’s through spikeball, the gym or beach volleyball.

 

 

 

I have always had a strong passion for traveling specifically for Italy and the rest of Europe. This fascination is why I decided to study abroad in Florence, Italy. Being a senior, I believed it was too late to study abroad, however when I heard it was still possible, I jumped at the opportunity.  My semester abroad took place during the 2026 spring semester and I am incredibly blessed and fortunate enough to acknowledge that it was some of my best and most eventful months at university.
