Studying abroad completely changed the way I think and see the world. Living in a new country pushed me far outside of my comfort zone and made me more fearless and willing to take risks I probably never would have taken before. It gave me a new level of independence that led to so much personal growth and character development. I deepened my knowledge of different cultures, customs, and traditions while being introduced to new habits and foods that I ended up loving—things I never would have known I liked if I had never studied abroad. Along the way, I made friendships that I know will last a lifetime, with people from all over the world who made the experience even more unforgettable. It was easily the most fun semester of my life, and it changed me into a more confident, open-minded, and adaptable person.
